SUP tour in Olhão takes us to Armona island, one of the 5 barrier islands of Ria Formosa. This is a ideal tour for Stand Up Paddleboarding because of the tranquility of the spot.
This is one of our most popular tours, as it is a place of indescribable beauty, tranquility of the waters due to the fact that the vessel traffic in the area is almost zero and still allows us to visit one of the islands.
The tour takes us through the calm waters of Ria Formosa to visit the oyster nurseries. Along the way we have the opportunity to watch different species of birds that make this lagoon system its habitat.
Arriving at the island of Armona, it is time to get some rest and take a refreshing swim in the waters of the Ria Formosa. There is also a chance to observe some species that inhabit these waters.
After rest, time to return to the starting point.
The tour lasts 2h30 and is ideal for all levels, with and without experience.
